^Sweety, it is fact that Black women mostly date or marry(the few of us who are married) our own men. And I think I'm correct in saying that they're are more tall African-American/Black men(precentage wise cause Hispanics outnumber our ****) than tall Hispanic. Your statements were generalizing and meant to denounce Black women just because what about 10 chicks said. My last statement was to say, if it were true that all Black women just like tall men it's because we have a wider selection of taller men than Latina women. I bet Vanessa Bryant likes her tall man.
I do not care what your, or anyone elses preferences are. I have preferences, we all do. Limitations is what pisses me off to no end. I mean, how offended would you be if I said I only want to date light-skinned women? Whether you liked me or not, I think you would find it rather insulting that I wrote you off before you even got a chance. Sometimes people need to watch their choice of words. Thunder

"What type of man do u like?" and i could say "tall, dark skinned, locks, and thick" becuz that's what i like. But guess what? I like a whoooooole bunch of other things too. And every dude that i've been attracted to wasn't tall, wasn't dark, wasn't thick, and didn't have locs. Folkz can say one thing on this board, but it doesn't mean that they'll stick to it, and it surely doesn't mean that the majority of the Black female population follows that same trend. kay...i'm done with my dissertation now
Replace and man w/ female, he w/ she, and dude w/ woman and I cosign....

...I would love to respond. First you need to look up what a justified stereotype is, because when you throw around sayings you don't understand you end up embarrassing yourself. A ratio of 14:1 out of 15 women is NOT a justified stereotype. If it was a ratio of 14:1 out of say 5,000 black women, it still would not be justified....You still did not have a response from at least an equal amount of latina women.I am pretty damn sure I can get about 15 latina women up on here to say they like men 5'8" and taller, being that I grow up in a latina community. (Note: there are black latinas (just thought you should know) So for you to throw out just ANOTHER UNJUSTIFIED stereotype against black women without proof, is just proving the napoleon complex theory
You grow up in a latina community? LOL. What are they, all women? I grew up in East Los Angeles Naz Itilaztan barrio, yeah, your knowledge on the latina community. Most whom probably are Puerto Rican living in Brooklyn.
 I'm sorry but that ****was funny as hell

WEEELLL Now days, a man's height is the least of my concerns. How well he is proportioned, and physically fit, seems to matter more to me. If you have nice skin, an alluring personality, and keep yourself clean cut... you're cool with me. I really don't care. BTW, my bf is 6 feet and Im almost 5'4"...

Man, I'm tryin to tell ya'll....When chemistry kicks in, most of those little wierd nit-picky "standards" that have are OUT OF THE DOOR. Trust me. I was always more attracted to thicker girls as opposed to the 'skinnier' ones, but once your mind, soul, and emotions start becoming centered around that 1 person, MOST of those preferences are as good as gone.

I dont have a height, weight skin tone, or race preferance. The guy isn't going to be a damn model he will be my boyfriend or husband. People are too particular about what they want someone to look like, and a lot of people are going to miss out on their soul mate in life if they keep up their list of "requirements".
