Religion is the **** of the masses--Karl Marx Posted on 02-02-2008
i*heart*pie

"Religion is the **** of the masses"--Karl Marx. My unfortunate Sociology professor mentioned it in a discussion during class. It got pretty heated. But after all the hubbub died down, it got me to thinking: does religion make us who we are, or is it the other way around? What do you think? (Even though I'm a Socialist and people say that's a step towards Communism, I still think Marx was just an emo before his time. This little adage further proves my point.:splat

okay you might be new to message boards...but you just hi -jacked your own thread...the proper way to do this is to start another thread. why because some one might not read all of the post especially if the thread is hot . So a new person to the thread could reply to something on page 5 and still be somewhat within the range of the thread. now it is true a topic may become exhausted and clearly misunderstood but that is your opinion and to the next poster it might be right on point . This is the beauty of Freedom within a non communist society. The legacy of Karl Marx is countries that will shut you down when you dont goose step to their ideas . Karl Marx replaced public religion that is usually headed by a higer power with a system that put the highest authority in Man. Men who still practiced secret religions called occult sciences. Occult science is the true ****. Yahshua made man . Man made religions So you will be the result of what you were taught and how you were raised but at some point the unseen world can become a reality and change your whole way of doing thangs.
Yahshua didn't make man. Evolution did. DUH! That's anthropology 101!!!

Evolution is cool and at the beginning of that stands Yahshua. Man can clone sheep and probably another man and the God that came in the Flesh can Create a man -Adam (anthropologetics 100 ) the Duh was funny I lol it reminded me of the cars that have darwin in the fish

*sigh* Okay, one regardless of what I put on the post, I know I didn't ask for the following things: 1. Spiritual advice: I have my own religious faith, thank you very much. I don't care what Jesus told you. You are not my mother's pastor. And I have also have a Bible, which funnily enough, I can read. 2. A discussion on Karl Marx's faith and politico beliefs...especially when they are just compared to someone ELSE'S religion. 3. A discussion on the theory of evolution. Prettyboi04 has that one covered. Check out his post, Evolution vs. Creationism. Now, if I don't feel like talking about Karl Marx, I don't have to. I have a political science, psychology and sociology course in which to do it. Now, if anyone has any issues with the topic, the topic is not about Karl Marx, sorry for the mistake. The question that I presented was originally: Does religion make us who we are or is it the other way around? Thanks for visiting my thread, new people!

It's my thread. All mine. I don't wanna share. Don't try and gain partial claims to my thread after wreaking havoc upon it. Heck, If there's one thing I'm good at, it's being a selfish, pie-loving, fact freak. I kid you not. And I've read that 2,000 year old sleeping pill you call the Bible...The only thing I'll give Mr. Bacon a.k.a. King James credit for is his poetry.
