^^^^ Bill Cosby is trying to do something positive , he wants to plant a seed for the future. Why do you focus on his past and negatives about him.
because he focused ON THE NEGATIVES of the people in my social and financial bracket thats why! if he wouldve said ALL BLACK people need to improve on this and that i wouldve been all for it, but to focus on one social group is ludicrous cause we all need help
ok...what are the POSITIVES of the people in your social and financial bracket?
why would you even ask a question like that??brotha ya should know! the positives 1--we have great survival skills 2--most have a great sense of family 3--we work 3 times harder for something that a richer person would take for granted 4--we have more of a genuine sense of caring about ALL PEOPLE in whichever social class and look out for one another 5--we will talk and listen to people, and I have seen people turn their noses at certain people just because of the way they look or act or where they live especially at Howard... 6--the people in my group ARE NOT A STEREOTYPE, we dont all want to become drugdealers, hoes, etc...just like any social class there are goods and positives about us, but you cannot focus on the negative to make a great social change...you not only have to try to improve BUT UPLIFT AS WELL..and gain people's trust...and a leader or a wannabe leader should know this...
it seems like your content at being at the bottom, since you failed to state a progressive positive.

you know what, im am going to let you have that statement, but if you could not see progressive positiveness from my statement than that is your fault.....all i am saying is that to try to uplift a group but degrade them is not going to help things.....and im saying all black people need help and there is not use trying to single out certain people...if we single out people then how are we going to help the situation HONESTLY tell me how because i would like to know...richer people will still squander in materialism JUST like poorer people and look down at people lower than them and the struggle will still continue since there is now an epidemic of blacks who have risen up socially but now ignore and insult the people who may not have yet and need encouragement instead of constant negativity...we get that from other races as well why do we need that from our own race as well???...is it so hard for a black person to uplift his brother or sister?? or better to treat them like bad children and scold them till eternity with not results being made...so change goes in ALL directions...you can talk all you will about a person but if you dont express genuine interest and hope then nothing will come through.......now i hate when people want to express their views and want to make assumptions and judgements about me...if you really want to express your views and want to maybe educate me then do it in a fashion that is intelligent and will make me want to listen and POSSIBLY change my mind  without throwing in accusations.... p.s--no matter what, black people have to know that there will always be blacks who maybe have to work the minimum wage jobs, be in single parent homes, etc.....its part of life....but to simply write these types of people off because of their situation is wrong...i am not content at the bottom and working in college now to rise above that but I FULLY realize that as long as there is an america there will always be distinct social classes and cannot ignore that or where i came from and using negativity ONLY is not the answer

well judging by your reply, bill cosby was not talking about you. Min. wage is not a problem , the problem which now an epidemic is single-parent households.
