Just reppin for mine. I haven't said anything bad about the east, and I guess the midwest, since yall wanna be included too (and I've heard easterners call midwesterners slow as well) , but I just argue the misconceptions about the south. But I come to find it useless to e-debate with people who obviously haven't seen all the south. Yall just don't understand that I seriously hear about this almost everyday.

Girl, Imma always and proudly rep for mine! I don't give a sh*t what anybody gotta say; I'm proud of where I came from. Move your **** out if you don't like it, that simple. I'm reflecting on this post and realizing how stupid it is. Everything and everybody ain't gon be the same. If we got something to say about everything that's different from us, we gon be miserable people and talking nonsense the rest of our lives, cause er'bodies different. Get over it and just learn or just move on & out. Niccas always finding sh** to fight amongst ourselves about.
 You are always real defensive about stuff, like someone is attackin you or somethin Not really just responding and stating my opinion, just like what you do when you have something to say.

What might be true? I never downed or made ignorant comments about people from NY (and I guess Chicago too) or how the city may move, I only debate comments made about the south. And once again, I go to school with mostly easterners (and I guess midwesterners too); southerners are the minority here.

Okay North is North, South is South... so that is dividing the country in half right? Now if you want to divide it in subsections we can do that also... Then we can discuss the differences between the southwest, southeast, northeast, northwest, and midwest... But right now we were discussin north and south... Who said saying the south is slower is an ignorant comment? It is a valid point. Some people like a slower-paced environment, and some people like a quicker-paced environment. For example, I like large crowds. Being in large crowds is exhilirating to me, but on the otherhand my best friend can't stand large crowds... Its all about preferences once again...

Well can someone explain this "slow enviroment" everyone speaks so avidly about??? I just don't see how everyone can generalize that the ENTIRE southern region of the country is "slow-paced"...I mean have y'all been to every southern state??? Maybe y'all just went to the rural areas because I don't think that generalization is true

Its the overall aura/vibe....For example, cars ride and people walk at a more laid-back pace...Like people don't have anywhere to go...You'd really think at least folks would drive faster with all the 60-70mph signs down here...Most we prob see back home is 55mph....
