Why u going to a black college?

I just wanted to know why you guys are going to HBCU's. I think that other colleges are great but college is about more than getting a degree, it's about getting a complete education. A complete education consist of learning about the world, why your are hear, what are going to do in life and most importantly it's about learning about yourself. Now other colleges can fulfill all of those but an HBCU is obviously the best to learn about yourself and your people. I personally got accepted into some of the top colleges in the nation but I would turn down Harvard to go to an HBCU!

wats good. i choose to go to a black school because of da quality of education. also because i feel that black teachers teach differently from white teachers. i've noticed dat my whole life in school dat i've learned more from black teachers than white one because of da way they get da lesson across. its really hard to explain. also i feel that black teachers are harder on u which a lot of times helps u to try harder to do good. white teachers can basically a lot of times care less if u pass or fail they really dont take da time out to pay attention or at least dats wat i noticed from my experiences with them. then there's da whol issue of bein comfortable. i feel like i'd feel more comfortable around mostly black people since i grew up around dat and can more so relate to dem. i have no problem workin at a job wit whites but as far as education goes i'd rather be around black students who may have expericened da same education problems and me iight.
