I been around for a "relatively" long time.
I had never heard the stereotype that Delta's were suppose to be ghetto. That's a first. I know Delta's who are old as dirt and I know Delta's who just crossed less than 60 days ago...none can be even remotely thought of as Ghetto. Class, class and more class is what I know.
Now, some will say that that is a stereotype too.
Again, I got mad love for all of the 9.
That Delta's are str8 ghetto! That one urks me errytime!
The ones I know are very classy and nice...they handle BUSINESS!
How do you like it in Nashville? Are you still here for the summer?
It's cool; I'm definately glad that I came to school in Nashville, it's a great place. I'm actually in Baltimore for the summer; I'll be back in early August, you should PM me.
At A&M the Zetas did a little skit about each of the other sororities. They had Zetas dressed as representatives from AKA, DST, and SGRho. The AKA was dressed in P&G and was supposed to be dense, the Delta was dressed kind of gangsta and was acting that way (she was exxtra hard) and the SGRho was off in the corner. I don't know if they were going for ghetto or gangsta, actually.
I'm glad the ladies of my sorority that you all have come into contact with have impressed you or at least did not have a negative effect on you. Class is the way of Delta.
I like it when the fraternities do a tribute to the sororities... These Phi Beta Sigmas were doing Alpha Kappa Alpha's mirrors and ivy stances something FIERCE!!! I was DY-ING. Hilarious.
