the media here say it was a combination of things 1. talking about the organization over that TD mess 2. Talking about Mcnabb to Espn 3. Fistfight wit hugh douglas last week then the team had a meeting and no one defended him, everyone said he should be suspended...apparently they suspended him in front of the TEAM! and they wont pay him the 4 games and theres some technical mess that allows them to not pay him for like 1 or 2 more games after that..i forget what it was

If TAMPA BAY WINS I AM retracting my statement that Falcons will go to the superbowl. Georgia teams always do this ya'll folks around the country are lucky we never get any props and when do something bad we are beatdown by the media. :x

If the Bears win 2 out of the 3 remaining games against winning teams (bucs, steelers, and falcons) they're serious super bowl contenders. Good division or not, they shut down a Carolina team who was said to be the class of the NFC and super bowl contender. Now just imagine if they hold their spot as the number 2 team in the NFC. How many teams would be able to come into soldier field in January and beat them? They're 7-3 with a rookie quarterback (4th round pick at that) and a no name defense which just happens to be ranked number one in league in total defense. Are you all ready to give them their respect or will they remain the most underrated team in the NFL along with San Diego?

Chi town is still iffey on offense whats Ortons QB rating. Their running game is good and Mushin is a good reciever,But them running the table the rest of the way to get to the superbowl I think they are couple years away. But it will be some suprise teams in the playoffs this year and Chi town is one of them. But I really think seeing that my Falcons are on losing streak(Losing to a damn 1-7 team) Inddy is looking like a great choice but DON'T SLEEP ON JVILLE. I have always like the Defense down there and you and I know what win superbowls :???: and if I hear anyone else talk about Pittsburg :x , they are not winning a championship this century.

True, defense wins championships and the Bears have the best in the league right now along with a powerful run attack to match. Orton has the worst QB rating in the league, but if you were too look at his performances from his last 4 games I'm sure it would be a lot better. Fact is, he's good enough to go out and not make mistakes when he's called on. Let's remember that the Panthers, who haven't won more than 6 away games under John Fox, and barely made it to the playoffs 2 years ago, made it to the super bowl. The Bears remain underrated. The AFC is looking clear cut as far as the top playoffs teams go, but the Colts could easily lose to the Chargers, Patriots, or Steelers in a big game.

But realize that after last night the Vikings who revamped there whole team is starting to put it all together seeing that Tices' job is on the line and they have to a easy schedule outside of Pittsburg, and Chi town so I think people should watch for them. And trust me no one is gonna beat the COLTS or the JAGS. I really chicago is going to the playoffs but I am still not sold on them yet.

The Falcons :x We've gotta learn how to play smart and play all 4 quarters, not 3 or 3 1/2. Our defense played alright, not good but alright, through the first 3 quarters, then fell apart in the 4th quarter when the game was on the line. The offense did the exact opposite, getting off to a horrible start but coming to life later in the game. In our 4 losses this year, we fell behind by at leat 13 points in the first quarter. If we can't learn to play a complete game and not dig ourselves in a whole, we can kiss Superbowl aspirations goodbye. Our run defense which was so good last year looks to have gotten tired at the end. That can probably be attributed to injuries, as well as the departure of Ed Jasper and Travis Hall last year, two good run-cover guys. For the second straight game we produced no sacks after finishing in the top 3 last year. We need to get it together ASAP! Its funny how in our past 2 losses, Michael Vick has had 2 of his best passing performances this season. It just goes to show you that stats mean nothing as long as you get the Ws. There was one time during the game when we had the ball on Tampa's 10 yard line or so, Vick dropped back to pass, and there was wide open hole in front of him with the FB to block for him. Instead of running and scoring what would have been an easy touchdown, he decided to stay in the pocket and ended up throwing an incomplete pass. I think that all the criticisms about his passing have gotten to him, and its almost like he wants to stay in the pocket on purpose just to prove that he can be more than a running QB. Its a good thing that da Bears beat the Panthers so Carolina can't run away with the division. The Bears remind me alot of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens team that couldnt score a lick but ended up winning the Superbowl with stellar defense. The Bears can go far because they play good team defense (check out Nathan Vasher's missed field goal return for a TD last week. Every single person on that defense blocked for him and didn't give up. Urlacher was sprinting down the field like he was a running back). Still though, I question if they can win when it comes crunch time with their mediocre offense and rookie QB. Remember, Ben Roethlisberger won 15 straight regular season games last year, but when it came playoff time he choked under pressure and looked like a normal rookie. The Colts simply look amazing, probably one of the best balanced teams in NFL history. They still have a couple more tough games left, including Seattle, San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville, but the way they are playing, this should be their year hands down.
