What do you guys think about black girls wearing weaves in their hair?
I personally have mixed feelings about it. I only will accept it if I have to guess if the girls hair is a weave. I hate to see girls with weaves that look like a weave because it looks way too terrible, and two dollarish.
I must confess I am a light skinned sister and I get perms. But you know what, it is all in the gene pool. I might not have long flowing hair but I do know that what ever needs to be done to my hair will be done. All I have to say to the guys or girls who call themselves the truth and pippy whatever THE DEVIL IS A LIAR. All that negativity you brought to the forum was not needed. Imagine one day finding out that you got cancer and had to go through chemo and lost all of your hair, my point is be greatful for what you have. Somebody else don't have it. If you have hair be thankful that you do. I'm not sure what made this whole issue turn the way it did but I hope that there is an understanding that everyone is free to their own opinion, but when it gets negative and hateful what comes of it? You can either start up a charity in your neighborhood for the bad permed girls or you can let them live. If you're not part of the solution you are part of the problem.
I hate weaves. Weaves are so unattractive. I wish females could here how guys talk about females with weaves. I can always tll when a girl hav a weave in their hair and it turns my stomach. You females need to be more natural. You guys are always doing something to make yourself up and the u wonder y guys like redbones. If u are a pluckhead get braids. Braids are the only thing i can accept fake from a black female.
I thought redbones were light skin women and I could have sworn light skin women are black? I guess you didn't know that though. And I know darker skin females with naturally straighter or finer hair.

Putting perms and weaves in their hair is hardly pride!
I would much rather see a female cut her hair off then walk around with chemicals in her hair...... be natural ......don't be fake!

ok... I can understand your weave theory becuase I have seen horrible weaves. But as far as perms, it really depends on the perm they get. Ofcourse, some perm DO make females have hard, stiff hair, but thats not always the case. Some women get perms to make their hair more presentable with out the harshness of a hot comb. And in your before statement you said they are "****", I have NEVER in my life SEEN an **** perm...although I have felt an **** perm. And you said that "****" are always talking about females with perms....I think you have it backwards, most "****" talk about a female with "natural" hair...I have never heard a "****" say " I LOVE YOUR **** ROOTS" or " THAT CHICK HAS A BEAUTIFUL FRO". Now Im not doubting someone who has a natural, locks, twist, or what have you, but I do have a problem with females who talk bad about females with perms because THEY think that its ****. Sometimes its better for a female to get a perm than to hot comb their hair.
I also would like to say to the ladies...Im not against weaves...Im not against tracks...what I am against are those people who chose to get blond silky weave when you know your hair is black and ****!!! STOP IT!!!!! :lol:
