I've been viewing this part of the hbcuconnect message board and I've seen alot of people come on and ask questions and alot of people get attitudes when someone just wants to know an answer. I can understand if someone is tryin to diss your organization or ask personal things about your pledging process, but alot of times if someone asks something simple, some of yall will get rude and try to go off. Is it really that deep to try to go off on someone over the internet that you dont even know? Do you think thats going to make you appear any smarter or prove your point any more? If you see a post that you don't wanna answer, can't you just skip it? I mean, maybe they really did want the question asked, maybe they really didnt know the answer. I'm pretty sure you didnt know everything about every greek organization. Yahoo! GOOGLES, ASKJEEVES, and MSN might not answer all the questions someone is wanting to know. Maybe they want to ask a member of that organization personally. If you view the index part of the board it says right under the greek forum "Kappas Step...... Sigmas Step.......... Aight........... Whats Really Good.... Ask question about ya Favorite Greek Fam or Rep ya Letters!!" So if they are doing what the description says, why get upset alot of the times when stuff shouldnt be a biggie?
Ok I am not greek but I am going to say this...sometimes you can learn so much more from reading and not saying anything. I have learned SO MUCH on this board from just sitting back and reading what greeks have to say. When people set people straight or "go off" On them I sit back and take notes because it's teaching me what not to do and alot of times when people ask stuff sometimes I want to know to but I search for it and it is not that hard to find at all. When people like AKAtude snap on people it honestly help me out because it show me what not to say so I won't get in front of greeks from my school and make a fool of myself. This site have taught me stuff I have never even thought would matter but I am so glad I know now. No I am not trying to suck up because I have no reason to I am just saying we do not know why they say the things they do to us prospects but I am sure they have a reason and they are trying to keep us from looking like **** in the future...maybe we do not understand now but if we ever have the Privilege to go greek maybe we will understand. So If I ever say anything out of order please correct me!!! If I'm even out of order for saything this please let me know!!!
ok.....i hope you want to be an aka at the school where akatude goes because otherwise such **** kissing doesnt make since (if it ever makes since)......you are not making a fool of yourself for not knowing, they are making a fool of theirselves by using your ignorance as a means to put themselves on a higher pedestal....you can tell people stuff without snapping or making them feel silly.... and you are **** up...not trying to get at you, but dont let your "greek desires" cause you to sacrifice your integrity and self asteem..........and dont respect people that go off on you, seventeen or not :x

I go to school no where close to where she does and I just used her for an example. ALL I was saying is that if I am going about something the wrong way I MUCh rather do it on here and have someone correct me that can not see me and have no idea who I am then to go to school and do it and be made a fool of and possibly ruin my chances. Maybe it came accross the wrong way. Everyone has their opinion, and considering I don't know you and you don't know me yours do not mean anything at all to me!!!

dont get defensive.........im not attacking you.....but greeks are just reg. people who have went thought a process and are now part of an organization........this process doesnt nec. make you smarter than anybody, so theirfore they are not better than you......this is why people that are greek feel they can come on her and talk down on you.........do not allow that....even at your school......they are not better than you....thats all im sayin
