FYI - http://www.kelloggs.com/hbcu/ Kellogg's has become a major supporter of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). They are sponsoring five (5) HBCU Classic Football Games this fall. Kellogg's sponsorship includes the following Classic games: 1. Detroit Football Classic - Detroit, Michigan -September 2, 2006 2. State Fair Classic - Dallas, Texas - September 30, 2006 3. Atlanta Football Classic - Atlanta, Georgia - September 30, 2006 4.Florida Classic - Orlando, Florida - November 17, 2006 5. Bayou Classic - New Orleans, Louisiana - November 25, 2006 In addition to sponsoring these games, Kellogg's has printed 300,000 Frosted Flakes boxes dedicated to this program (that my company designed). Along with the box, there is a cross-promotion with BuyHBCU.com which is a brand under Russell Athletic that is the official licensee of HBCU apparel). This brand is directed by a classmate from Morehouse. This promotion provides a HBCU t-shirt (of any of the participating schools in the five (5) above games) for $4.99 and two (2)proofs for purchases. Also for those of us whose school is not participating in one of the mentioned games, please notice the secondary promotion on the side panel of the box. There is a promotional code, K4HBCU, that can be used on www.BuyHBCU.com. The website will provide a 10% discount on any purchase of your favorite school (please remember that on BuyHBCU.com a portion of every purchase goes back to your school). This is the first that Kellogg's is doing a program of this caliber that benefits HBCUs. In order to make this program a success and continue throughout the years, I ask for your support by purchasing at least one (1) box of cereal and one (1) t-shirt. The box is available in ten (10) states (please note that these boxes are commemorative and will not be reprinted): 1. California 2. Florida - Publix Supermarket 3. Georgia - Publix Supermarket 4. Illinois 5. Louisiana - Winn-Dixie 6. Michigan 7. New Jersey 8. New York 9. North Carolina - Food Lion 10. Pennsylvania Please share this information with all of your colleagues, friends, family, associates, church members, etc. For more information, please visit: www.kelloggs.com/hbcu. As your browse through the web site, please notice the download section for ring tones, wallpaper, and screen savers. If you have a Cingular Wireless or T-Mobile cell phone, please download the available FREE ring tones. Unfortunately, Nextel and Sprint do not allowed free ring tones with their service plans.
