I love Morgan State...College is what you make it...at any school you go to...I'm sorry you had that experience but that was just one class an done professor...Please don't come on here badmouthing a school just because of one teacher. You are giving Morgan a bad name because of ONE experience. I'm pretty sure there are some people who won't go to Morgan because they read your post. Dumb people graduate with degrees everywhere. There are some ppl who know how to pass tests or cheat their way through things EVERYWHERE.
Its not just Morgan and you should go talk to your teacher about your grade and try to get it changed.
If you are serious about your hard work you should have kept all your assignments and grades and brought them to the professor to show her that something wasn't adding up.
Please don't down Morgan State until you have been done a great disservice by going here that will affect you for the rest of your life and there is nothing that you can do about it. (one bad experience doesn't count) Everyone has some bad experience in four years of college.
I love Morgan State and all the opportunities that it has afforded me. I had the grades and test scores to go to the University of Maryland or any other institution that most people would consider "better". I came to Morgan and I am doing well academically (3.6 GPA) and socially (very involved on campus and the community). I have great paying internships in my field and am more successful than anyone in my family could have dreamed. Morgan is an excellent institution if YOU make it that way.
I understand you really worked hard to earn your grade, but if you don't go and complain about it to your professor with proof then YOU let that one go. No one owes you anything. And you see the syllabi that are given to you in your classes. YOU have to learn how to work the system. Teachers do not care about you in college, they get paid whether you pass or not. You have to fight for what you want or think you earned.
