On December 4, 2006 the Supreme Court will hear two cases that raise the question of race in integrating public schools. These cases come from Louisville, KY and Seattle, WA, from parents groups who are suing school boards from both cities. If they win these cases, affirmative action will be outlawed and Brown v Board of Education will be turned on its head. WE MUST NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! Help to organize this fight to defend affirmative action and build a national march on washington that will show our uniformity in defending the right for black and latino students to have equal access to quality education in America. I am a Howard University student and I feel that everyone should know about this issue. You should your schools involved in this issue. It is something that can affect everyone no matter what your race, religion or creed is. Schools, colleges and organizations will be traveling from all over the nation to rally and march on the steps of the Supreme Court. If you are interested in participating please contact me. Howard University students will have a rally and candlelight vigil the weekend before we march on December 4th. We (Howard University) welcomes everyone to take part in the efforts. The time has come for us to unite and save Brown v. Board of Education. For more information visit www.bamn.com
