Hi, I'm Joyce. I'm on the intraverted side by nature. I would much rather hear about you than talk about me, but here comes the Internet and change and HBCUConnect.com. So here goes...
I'm 32, I have a 10 year old and a 5 year old, I work at Hill Motor Company, Inc. a small pre-owned car dealership that I own with my partner, best friend, mom, and sometimes rival. I still say small, cause I remember the days when I had to wash the car, figure out why it didn't run and do the paperwork. lol. Her too, but we're getting kinda big these days, the most sales in our little town and a couple other towns in the area.
Oh yea, I'm working on an executive masters in communications at Syracuse. Executive being a fancy way of saying I do it from Alabama and only have to travel to NY once a semester. I'm a second semester student and it seems like it will never end! If you live in New York, let me know and I'll holla.
Anyway, I just have a few friends, lots of associates, and I love HBCUConnect cause it's just my speed. It's a social lifesaver living in a small town, working ALOT and dealing with Walmart as the hangout possibility.
OK, you don't have to feel sorry for me. I have a great family, some out of town friends and HBCU Connect. Not loads of folks on the site to worry about who's a serial **** and who's not. It's growing though, so I will adapt. Looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know some of you.
See ya around!
