Hey,
My name is morgan, and I am pretty much stressing myself out. My senior year is almost over and I have yet to apply to any scholorship. So now I am worrying myself trying to figure out how I am going to pay for school. If anyone had any idea how to help me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks somuch in advanced.
Morgan
Well, getting a job, work/study or financial aid all will get you through the first semester. Look at the post in scholarships about She got $100,000 and you can too, for some tips to back track and get some of that college money while you make it throught a semester.
YOU CAN DO IT!! Stay focused.

Hi its not too late for scholarships. There are many scholarships which dont have deadlines until may or june and dont freak out. most colleges dont start billlng until july. I was in the same boat as you up until just a couple weeks ago except I'd applied to numerous local scholarships, fastweb.com became my favorite site, and my counselor was looking through every scholarship book she could find. I scored exceptionally well on my SAT, my g.p.a is above 3.5 and you would think by me being a minority female wth mutiple disabilities, I would be receiving scholarships out the ying yang but I was not receiving any congratulation letters. Me and my dad was just sending in financial aid forms to my 1st choice college so we could get ready to take out loans (since he makes too much money for me to get financial aid). then suddenly something wonderful happend. I got a scholarship! I had applied for the honors program at fayetteville state a couple months ago and I just got my invitation letter last thursday!
I know this was a long story. (Sorry I talk a lot lol). but my point is sometimes surfin the web for national schorships is a waste of time. The best thing to do is talk to the financial aid department of the college you are going to. They can most definately steer you in the right direction. Even if you dont receive any scholarships this year, you might get some next year and until then a little financial aid or student loans wont hurt.
