I'm very excited to be a part of the HBCU Connect family. Although I'm not a student at a HBCU -- I'm a student at Syracuse University -- that does not emasculate my Black male college student status, my sincere interest in Black progression, and I hope people realize and respect that.
I'm here to network and to see the topics that are unique to other students of color at other schools, particularly HBCUs because I already know what it's like to be a student of color at a predominantly white college/university.
In a nutshell, my ambitions include becoming a university professor, a social scientist/activist, and a university chancellor. Maybe some small businesses on the side to keep the car filled up; you know how it goes.
Hope you all are interested in what I have to say as I am very interested in your input. I'll see you in dialogue. Be blessed.
