In this week's Pulse Report, the streets are buzzing about 50 Cent throwing in the towel, Fif and Jim Jones appearing on "Rap City" together, and Foxy Brown lying about her pregnancy. 1. 50 Throws In The Towel? First "Kanye West doesn't stand a chance"; Second, Fif bets his career that he'll outsell the Louis Vutton Don; Third, Fif promises to wage war against Def Jam releases if he loses; Fourth, Kanye's first day number top 50's; And fifth, the Queens rapper doesn't feel like making music anymore. "After a while it's not exciting," Fif told an unidentified news correspondent in an on-camera interview. "I'm not really excited to go sell a record. I probably won't even put another album out. If I do put it out, I probably won't travel to promote it. The actual release of this record wasn't pleasant for me. When asked if he felt "burned out," the G-Unit boss replied: "Not burned out, I just feel like I don't wanna do it anymore. It's the first time I ever told people publicly. I've been feeling that way for a while." He then abruptly bounced after offering, "See you later." [View Here] 2. Jim Jones and 50 to join forces? Is Jones signing to G-Unit? Are Jimmy and Curtis working on a song together? Will Fif executive produce Jim's next album? Whatever it is, it'll be gi-mungous! By now, I'm sure you've heard that Dipset's capo visited 50 on BET's "Rap City" earlier this week. You could definitely see the awkwardness in the room. The ever Swaggerific Jones even stuttered a few times. [Watch Here] In addition to the Jones segment, Fif also interviewed Soulja Boy and even did part of the teen sensation's dance. Classic! The episode was one of Rap City's best in years. 50's a natural in front of the camera and a pretty good host. Since he may stop recording if Kanye wins, maybe he'll consider becoming the new "RapCity" host, full-time. Q45 apparently doesn't have that many fans. 3. Foxy, Foxy...Foxy! By now I'm sure you've all heard that Foxy isn't pregnant as previously reported. "I'm getting married. I'm pregnant," Fox told the New York Post last month. Now, her management has issued a statement claiming that Fox didn't introduce the preggers rumors. Whatever, dude! But, why would Inga claim preggers if she wasn't? Perhaps she hoped to gain sympathy from the judge? She may as well have rolled in perched in a wheel chair and worn a neck brace like they do in the movies. Her management team asserts her LP will hit stores November 20, preceded by an offering entitled Brooklyn Don Diva. 4. Kanye Throws Tantrum, MTV strikes back. Kanye cursed MTV for not allowing him to perform on the big stage at the MTV Awards. And his "I'll never return to MTV" tantrum was caught on camera. [Watch Kanye Tantrum] Now, MTV has issued a statement saying that it was actually Kanye's idea to perform in the suite because he sought a "more energetic setting." Furthermore, MTV has listed Kanye's Top 5 Cry Baby Moments, including the Chicagoan walking out of the American Music Awards after losing to country singer Gretchen Wilson, and how he crashed the stage after losing Video Of The Year at the MTV Europe Music Awards. 5. Nas Returns. It turns out that we'll have more than Lil' Wayne's album to look forward to before the end of the year. Nasty Nas is scheduled to drop his second Def Jam release. No titles yet, but the LP is halfway done according to an interview God's Son conducted with MTV's Mixtape Monday earlier this week. http://sohh.com/articles/article.php/12551
