Hello ladies,
My name is Ana and I am the casting director for MTV's True Life documentary real life series. We are casting for an upcoming episode called, "I'm a Southern Belle". I would like to reach out to the HBUC community and see if any of you ladies consider yourselves to be true southern belles.
We are open to females ages 16 - 28 from anywhere in the US. I have spoken to many girls already and it has been a challenge to find the right one. We are very interested in any ladies who are preparing for an important event soon. Whether it be rushing for a sorority, preparing for a cotillion, running for homecoming queen, or another unique personal goal...we want to hear from you!
What makes YOU a southern belle and WHY is this upcoming event SO important to you? Email me at acordova@leftright.tv if you are interested or would like more information on the casting process.
Thank you!
Ana Cordova
AHH... GOSH..
Ya'll just missed me!!! I just finished my Delta Debutante season.
Gosh...I would have loved to be on that there TV Screen.
But...better luck next time.
Ditto....I was in a Jabberwock this past year. I loved every minute of the whole process The community involvement, the sleep overs (I don't care if I am 17, those sleep overs were the business!), the whole production itself was just great!!! I bet the show is going to be a flop though
We're hoping the show will not "be a flop" and that is why we are trying to reach out to all young ladies. We don't want to only represent the stereotypical blond blue eyed rich country club daddy's girl. We know there are are sorts of southern belles who are proud of their southern traditions, roots, and values.
Hopefully we can find a great girl from the HBUC community :-)
