South Africa has been blessed with two great presidents but things are reaching a crossroads :
The ANC by far the majority party is electing it's new leader in December.
Effectively that means come elections, 2 years from now, that man will be president.
At present Mbeki cannot stand as he has served 2 terms.
The leading candidate is Jacob Zuma who, while being a popular choice, is considered by many analysts to be very dangerous.
Besides having stood trial for ****, he has charges of fraud pending.
The President and thereby his choice of candidate is threatened by his policies on ****, Zimbabwe, Health and ****.
My feelings are that the president has not yet learned the value of the media but is otherwise an outstanding leader.
My question to the South African public is - Is the president's flirting with the constitution not really a leadership issue rather than a constitutional crisis ie will steady post leadership elections.
