schools in tha MEAC dont really have alotta perimeter shooters, its alotta penetratin tha lanes and workin tha inside game, which killz tha excitment of launchin em from downtown... . But if you for dunks, . Be there.

Chiaaa... You have have to understand that MEAC Tournament JUST moved to NC a few years ago. Before it was always in VA and always lived in CIAA's shadow (with good reason, a few of the schools were from the CIAA). In my opinion, it will never be as hype as CIAA used to be in Raleigh. Its still a fairly large tournament, though. I don't think there's as many people that come for the tourney that don't/didn't attend a MEAC school as there are/were for CIAA. Still a good time to be had by all, however.

Thanks for the input. I went to the CIAA tournament last year and had a great time. I wanted to attend this year, but I had a schedule conflict. However, I will definitely try to attend in 2009.
