Politics: Georgia Slavery Apology Posted on 10-20-2007

“…Slavery apologies being adopted in Southern states are more than a little insulting to state Senator Robert Brown, the highest-ranking black in the Legislature…Brown said today that he still would vote against it because it does nothing. He said he will not accept an apology for something that "**** millions of people that **** women and took babies from their mothers and then sold them like you would a piece of equipment." What do you all think about legislation passing a law that makes certain states apology for our ancestor's slavery? Here is a link that highlights it: http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/politics/georgia/news-article.aspx?storyid=80809

Do White people today owe us an apology for what their ancestors did to ours? Tell us what you think... Here is a cute drama called "A Letter to and from the Black People" that you might find humorous. I got it off of YouTube: YouTube - A Letter To and From Black people
