What do you think about the music that our kids are listening to. So you feel that the music today is really poisoning our kids minds and the way that they think and do things. I was talking with one of my associates about the music that is out today. He brought up the song 'Hey bae bae bae" I really don't know what the song is all about but our young folks love it. Can we even have the gall to talk about the music today compared to our music back in the day. So lets talk about it and let me know what you feel about it.Wssu.rams@yahoo.com
How can you see that the music today is inspiring our young? Do you feel that the music has a lot to do with the way that our youth think? And the reason that I ask this is that I have kids;two girls ages 14,5. I don't know what they may be exposed to when I'm not around and that will have to play on any adult as a parent. I know that we can not watch over our kids 24/7 but we can at least try to monitor what they are exposed to. The same way that when one day you will have kids and start to wander the same thing and ask the same questions that are being asked now. I'm 40 years old and I look at the kids today and see what I used to do but not quite like they are doing now, feel me. So just look at the big picture and see what might be later on for what is for me now. Holla back at cha' boi....... wssu.rams@yahoo.com
Alot of older people tend to think that music influences kids in a bad way. I agree with that and disagree at the same time. Sure kids hear certain things and think that its cool or might wanna try it, but i think its all in the way that u raise your kids. All my life i was able to listen to WHATEVER I wanted. Of course i gravitated towards hard core rap and all, but i dont do the crazy **** that rappers say that did in their raps. I was raised better than that. I think that if u teach your kids right from wrong then they will be staright. Give them the freedom to choose what they wanna listen too. If it would make u feel more comfortable ask your kids what it is they are listening to. Converse with them before you bash their style of music. My mom does. She actually happens to like alot of the music i like now because i've explained them to her.
