Hip Hop artists would have to take the skills of artists like Run DMC, Rakim, Krs, ect and expand on those to make better music instead of just taking what N.W.A. did. I'm sure we can all relate to what they're saying in some ways but right now it's all gimmicks and not actually Skills selling records today.

Prince was on Tavis Smiley and he was like the music game is like slavery cuz the heads of these labels are bean counters and ****they dont know jack about music they look at sales.
Rap **** and so does hip hop now. Sadly their are still black people with that "I am a **** and he is my ****" mentality in the industry and world...

All we need is someone to step up and take charge. Second thought......more than one person. I know that's why I'm in school studying what I'm studying. I don't about anyone else, but I plan on doing something about it. If marketing an artist a certain way affects sales, find a way to positive way to market an artist with positive substance that will provide positive sales (are ya following me?).
