This is gonna be hot once it finally drops. $80k is pretty expensive though, but it makes a much bigger statement than buying a Carrera 911 / MB SLK for around the same price.
The only big problem is the tesla has been having transmission failures that their engineers haven't yet been able to solve. The lifespan is a lot shorter than what they originally quoted, and so far their only solution is to extend the warranty to replace the transmission with a more reliable one sometime in the future.
Still hotness, though. If I had the cash, I'd definitely be in one.
If you get one .... I'm gonna need a ride somewhere. I don't know where yet, but I'm sure I'll think of a spot when you get one.
