Atlanta, GA
So im interested in computer engineering. I've been doing some research but I want some people speaking from experience? What is Hampton's Computer Engineering program hittin' on? I know its only a few years old, that's why I ask. Anywho, I`m also looking at: Morehouse\Ga Tech Dual Degree Fort Valley\Ga Tech Dual degree and Univ Of Florida. Deep down I want to go to an HBCU but I'm ready to step out of my comfort zone and into reality. I also want to get the hell out of Atlanta for a while!

The universities you named are excellent choices for engineering. You want be disappointed, if you decide to attend either of your choices. If I were in your position, I would probably choose the Morehouse/GA Tech program. Morehouse is an excellent university with a rich history. With respect to Engineering, GA Tech is one of the best in the nation. GA Tech and Morehouse graduates are highly respected in corporate America. Since you live in Atlanta, I would recommend that you attend the NSBE conference in March. The conference will be held in Orlando, which is about 6 -7 hours from Atlanta. At the conference, you will have the opportunity to speak with several engineering universities and graduates. Also, you will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the engineering field, which could lead to an internship or career opportunity. For more information, click the links below. Good Luck! Conference Site NSBE Convention 2008 Home | (NSBE Convention 2008 Home) Agenda http://nsbe.org/convention/downloads/NSBEAgenda2008.pdf
