At Long Last - A Monument To Slavery – Destined To Be Taller Than The Statue Of Liberty
As you are probably well aware, it has been 200 years since the abolition of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Although other nationalities have monuments that honour their experiences, no international, iconic monument exists that significantly chronicles the contributions made by people of African ancestry.
The Healing Of Africa Monument and The Millennium Monument Projects have been launched to enable millions of people around the world to honour the ancestors, claim their place in history, promote peace, healing and forgiveness, inspire hope for the future, and provide economic empowerment throughout the world.
The Millennium Monument
There will be seven identical, 15ft bronze Millennium Monuments placed in seven countries around the world. On the same day and precise time, they will all be unveiled to complete the largest, simultaneous, media unveiling ceremony in history. The American-based location has not yet been selected. You may wish to nominate your establishment to be selected for the said monument and over $1,500,000 in donations.
The Healing Of Africa Monument
Unlike any other commemorative sculpture, for people of the African Diaspora, The Healing Of Africa Monument is destined to be taller than The Statue Of Liberty and will probably be the most historic and monumental tribute of our time. The attached PDF document provides more information on both projects and the all expenses paid, Cultural Vacation, to London, England, for two.
In addition to supporting the Motherland, another key objective is to ensure revenue, from the project, goes back to supporting our communities, via monetary donations to legitimate organizations. After reviewing the attached document, let us know if you would like your establishment to be one of the approved organizations to receive our Community Empowerment Awards.
The official launch of the website, http://www.thehealingofafrica.com, is less than two weeks away. In preparation for the launch, the site is only accepting individuals wishing to sign up as website members to receive regular updates. The rest of the site will go live on Tuesday 18th March.
