WHY ARE MEN RUDE? Here is a food for thought: You are a young lady working and a young man on the job you work with sometimes is being rude and it is very annoying. All you want to do is just do your work and go home. You don't know whether he is joking or insulting you. It doesn't happen often, but you sometimes feel you are disrespected and then confused sometimes because he is being nice towards you. What is his issue with you? Is it that he has a crush and is too immature or is he just arrogant? Feel free comment ALRIGHT GENTLEMEN....GIVE YOUR HONEST OPINION. THERE ARE MANY WOMEN OUT THERE WAITING FOR YOU ANSWER.

Since it’s a professional environment, it depends on the type of comments that are made. Are the negative comments personal attacks? Are the negative comments related to work? If the comments are personal, there is a possibility that he is interested in you. Maybe he is trying to gauge your temperament. However, I don’t think this is the best approach, if you are interested in a lady. If the comments are related to work, maybe he is trying to keep you humble. Maybe you are an excellent employee that’s far better than the other employees. Therefore, he is trying to keep you humble. Overall, its very difficult to determine his intent or reason for making rude comments. I think the best thing is to express your discomfort with his actions. This will provide an opportunity for him to express himself.

Thanks for commenting The reason I posted this was because I come across young women in my peer group who have situations such as this.

Depends on what you consider "rude". One of the jocks got mad yesterday because the traffic guy used the word "****" on the air. While he and I thought his comment was at least cackle worthy, the jock thought it was insulting.
