no support for my dreams

So i want to got to college and im really interested in FAMU but I feel like no one supports my dream...mainly my mother every time i mention college it seems like she gets silent....like i cant get support from her...what should i do

keep at it...its no way she can say no to a higher education especially if most of it is (or should be) going to be paid for, so u should be applying for scholarships and getting those awards money getting that taken care of, if your mother doesnt seem to want to help in that area...i had to do the same because in my case my mother couldnt afford it by herself, since i am the youngest of four... so i took care of business.

idk wat she wants but i think she should at least back me up because what i do in my future will mostly effect me and i cant make my choices by what she want.....i just need her to support me

just sit her down and talk about it cuz my parents want me to stay in miami for school but i dont want to but they are getting over it

its good idea but we dont talk much ....... when we talk its about random stuff but when its about serious issues it gets too uncomfortable

damn that ****.. you could atleast give it a try . can u talk to your dad or a close realtive and maybe have them talk to her?

my father would always want me to follow my dreams but i never lived with him so it would be a first to talk to him about my future.... i think ill talk to my mom though
