Word on the street is that Fisk is having some financial issues. i know right now ur probably like what HBCU isn't having money problems. However, i was also told that it was on the news that they are having really big money problems and are currently on probation which means they are at risk of losing their accreditation.
Fisk was my second choice of schools that i would like to attend but with this information im just not sure anymore. i don't want to go to a school that loses it's accredidation because outside scholarships won't give me money, id have to transfer and if i don't then my diploma would have no value to it. some1 plz tell me this info is wrong? if u have any more info on the situation plz let me know also. mayb this is just 1 big misunderstanding. =[

Alot of things could just be rumors, becuase I remember one a couple months ago saying Fsk was closing in December. But theres a link to there accredittation details if you wanna check it out.

its great that i see that they are accredited, however their next reaffirmation is in 2009. so lets hope all goes well.lol. so do u think i should still apply to the school? do u think they would award me financial aid?thanks!
Well I think you should still apply. They are still going to give out scholarships if you qualify for them. I dont think they are having THAT much of a money problem lol. I know I got money to go there, so yeah. Still apply!!
