HBCUs contribute to American history because they keep the founder's dream alive and allows students to see first hand what our founder's fought so hard for. HBCUs are relevant today not only because of the educational benefits that they bring, but also because they show its students first hand what was going on in that era. It allows students to experience its history instead of jus reading about in books. The lessons that we can learn are to never give and to keep faith because if you don't you can never be able to move forward with anything you do.
