My name is John "J-DOGG" Shaw. I am a jazz musician, musicologist, journalist and music promoter. Since 1995 I have worked for Select-O-Hits Music Distribution in Memphis in the promotions and A & R division. Although I graduated from Memphis State University, I am a fan of the Grambling State University Tigers and can usually be found on the yard or in the Village during GSU Homecoming.
