As she walks………
As she walks he stares with a burning desire to hold her, as she walks his imagination wonders off into the pleasures that were never granted to the Black society. She approaches with the upright posture of a bull as he makes his tour around the arena before his charge. He smiles in preparation to greet her for he is the man of her dreams, she proudly struts for she knows her life to be accepted, and the knowledge he must have to master her desire to be led. He is prepared because he has studied her dreams and wishes, he stares, and prepares himself and greets her and she smiles with that same pride that tore the Black man and woman apart. He opens the door as she enters, she smiles, and grab the next door handle pulls it open and without looking back to give what has been given….. the door closes behind her, he watches as he reaches out to pull the door and let his self enter, as he look up a white woman opens and holds the door and says….” …..after you…….”.
