We talked about XM and Satellite radio. I actually like Satellite radio, especially when i am traveling on road trips.

That's what I thought. I only knew of 1 person that actually bought satellite radio. Others just used the free 6mth-1yr you get with a new vehicle and didn't subscribe afterwards. I only know 2 people with a Zune! And 2 people with Vonage...now they're getting married so they'll only need one account. lol

I don’t think Vonage is a bad concept. My only concern is having a single point of failure for communication. If your internet is not working, you cant use your phone. I still like using the traditional phone service like bellsouth, etc.

I have internet phone now through my cable company. Yeah it goes out with the cable but it's not that often that the power or cable goes out. I also have a cell phone which I use more than the house phone anyways. The bonus that I found with "internet phone" is that they don't nickel and dime you for every additional service/feature and you don't have to pay an additional fee for long distance per month plus a per minute charge. I save more with it all around.
