young single mother needing advice on going back to complete education at a HBCU. started school in 2003 at Dillard University and then I transferred to U of Houston in 2004 after a medical withdrawal in 2007 I have not returned to school yet but now I am interested in atteding a HBCU but since I left UH I have had a baby and have no money for my education. I also only have family in California, Mississippi and Louisiana that can help me care for my small child. I have bad credit so I cannot get a student loan. What should I do? should I just give up on school? Or should I just wait till my child gets older and then go back? If you know about any special scholarships for people like me please let me know. Thanks in advance.

tip:

think harder before you make life altering choices, especially when you are in college. I wish people would be throwing money and scholarships at me for all the mistakes I made.
