MEDITATE SUNDAY: A NEED FOR STRONG PATIENCE Posted on 07-10-2011

MIISRAEL
Memphis, TN

Hurry! Hurry!...You've got to have that right now!

This very day during my early morning meditation and prayer I wanted to light all my 8 candles. I succeeded, but not before I experienced one candle wick that wouldn't light. After several attempts I removed it and replaced it with a brand new candle. Guess what? The wick fell out which I replaced; and still I couldn't get it light on the first two tries! However, using patience-- finallly I did light it and begin my meditation learning a lesson patience was the only way I would have all eight candles lighted. Patience worked with perservance.

Day to day patience is a virture of the Spirit. Meditation is loaded with a roadmap that leads to patience. You should display patience in waiting, but also with steps of faith which causes the unforseen to come to pass. Longsuffering will make waiting almost unbearable, but in the patience soon the time will come the unseen will come into reality. Take meditation as as a method of allowing God's calmness rule over you. Trusting in God's power to handle your needs and your need of patience. Practice listening to God Words and absorbing them in your Spirit. When in meditation you may want to repeat His inspiring Word in that you become part of his communication for you. This time will allow God power over all you do. Whatever your verses of meditation, make sure your have the patience to receive his marvelous gift of Word so that you have this marvelous virture wherever you go in your daily life. With God your speech, life and actions will display a true virture of patience. In a small comparsion; it's much like lighting candles.

"In all things approving ourselves as the ministers
of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in
necessities, in distresses.
{2 Corinthians: 6:4]

"I take pleasure in infirmities, in
reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in
distressess for Christ's sake: for when
I am weak, then am I strong."
[2 Corinthians: 12:10]

"Settle it therefore in your hearts,
not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
For I will give you mouth and wisdom, which
all your adversaries shall not be able to
gainsay nor resist."

The complete patience will give also confidence in situations of your life, whether they be personal, or professional. Your virture of patience needs are met and fulfiled. Meditation and prayer gives your strong need of patience without measure.

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O'Lord my strength and my redeemer."
--Psalm: 19:14

BLESSINGS,
MIISRAEL
