Last Semester I attended an intake meeting for a Fratenity I was interested in joining. They required that we all bring our transcripts and that we all have at least a 2.5 GPA. At the meeting the current members where a little aggressive out the gate asking us "why are you here?" and "how can you make our organization better?" At the end of the meeting they took our contact information and said they'll contact us if they want to see us again. Weeks went by and the rumor around school was the Fraternity did not want to do a line because only 3 people out of 25 people that attended the meeting had a 2.5 GPA or better. So Mid semester I spoke with one of the "important" members in the Fraternity and he said they will definately do a line this upcoming fall or spring. So should I just try again?
If you really wanted to be a member of the organization ... it is never a matter of asking. If you have to ask should you try again ... you may not be fully dedicated to becoming a member. If I am wrong, then, yes ... you should try. If you first don't succeed ... try again.
