Were you born in the U.S.?
My name is Abigail Nicolas, and I am a doctoral student in
counseling psychology at the University at Albany. As a Black woman, it is both
personally and professionally meaningful to explore experiences that may impact
the Black community. I am writing to kindly invite you to participate in my
dissertation study examining the lived experiences of Black young adults and
its impact on well-being.
Participation in the study is online, voluntary (you may
withdraw at any time or not answer questions), and anonymous. It has been
reviewed and approved by the IRB at UAlbany (Protocol # 17-X-125-01). The
survey should take you no more than 10 minutes. Participants will be eligible
to win one of fifteen $15 Amazon e-gift
cards. If you would like to be entered into the drawing, remember to must
submit your e-mail address at the end of the study.
If you said “yes” to the three questions above and are
interested in participating in this study, please follow the included link to
the survey: https://www.psychdata.com/s.asp?SID=176249
Please also forward this email to anyone you know who may meet
the criteria and be interested in participating in the study.
Thank you so much in advance for your time and consideration.
