Depends on where you go i know @ Michiagn State i could not but @ Jackson State lol it dont matter
At FAMU freshmen arent supposed to have cars, but alotta of them get away with it. As far as getting around to get ur hair and nails done, ask around when u see somewone with a cute style or nice nails...and they will let u know where all the good places are. As far as transportation is concerned get real cool with people you know who have cars. ( dont be a user ) but when u got friends who have cars they will usually look out for u when u need a ride places. And if you dont make new friends will cars ( which I highly doubt ) you better get real familiar with the city buses in that area. I go to school outta state, so when I went to school I had my hair done cause I wasnt trying to let anyone do my hair. And when I would go home for breaks I would get it braided up and stuff. I did let my friend do my hair one time cause I seen her do other peoples hair and it came out cute. You will prolly meet lots of girls who can do hair. Just see their work first on other people before you become her guinea pig. :wink:
i know how u feel i'm an incomin freshman but i have a friend that does hair and she goin to do mine when i move...i know bama state let's freshman have cars and live off campus....

Every college is different but most colleges dont allow freshmens to have cars...mainly cause of the limited parking on campus. As far as getting away with it. I dont know it depends on how strict ur college is about it. At FAMU, you can park certain places without a decal, and you will be straight. But if you park in certain parts of campus without a FAMU decal they will tow ur car wit no hesitation...so like i said. It depends. Where are u going to college?

Girl I know what u sayin cuz I do not let just anybody, and I mean anybody straighten my hair. I have been going to the same lady since I was 8. You better get cool wit somebody or know yo way around on a bus so u can find that right place.
U better make the bus or an upperclassmen ur best friend! I wouldnt know about not being able to have a car on campus cuz at my school u are allowed too...and second semester i did. But u can always meet someone with a car.....if ur going to school close to home (1hr-3hrs away) u can always go home on a weekend and get them done. You'll find a way-and u have time 8)

I wouldnt know about not being able to have a car on campus cuz at my school u are allowed too...and second semester i did.
