I was born and raised in Washington, DC. I attended the University of the District of Columbia where I studied Public Administration. I left school to pursue a spiritual calling that removed me from the workforce for 11 years. During that time I volunteered to serve at-risk youth as a sports coach and mentor. After 23 years of professional management for a youth development organization, I resigned as Director of Operations and decided to pursue my passion for writing novels and short stories. In August 2019, I released my debut novel, Mirrors of Life: What is your life in the mirror? On September 15, 2020, I will release my second novel, Mirrors of Life Part 2: The Fight for Political Power.
