Starting a thread from a previous topic on getting old. I wanna know how many people remember when cell phones were non-existent. How many ppl remember their parents giving them 35cents to make a phone call when they went out with friends? How many people even remember pay phones (that worked)? How many ppl remember the car phone (only rich ppl or hood rich ppl had that)? And lastly how many ppl still remember the first cell phone (that big phone that looked the size of a minature bat).
I remember my ma had this big **** cell phone size of a cordless phone and i remember the .35 cent payphones and i was **** when it went up to .50 but now i got ma own cell phone so its all good

Yeah I remember the days before cell phones and beepers. I remember my parents had bought the first cell phone that ever came out. We still have it in the closet. Its HUGE...when I look at how big it was and how fast technology has come along...its really mindblowing.
I remember when moms used to give me 35 cents to call after I got outta nite school. Then the pay phone charges went up to 50 cents...she finally got me a beeper.
