Located just three miles away from the ocean on the borders of Orange and Los Angeles counties, California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is a diverse, student-centered, and globally engaged public university. CSULB is a federally designated Minority-Serving Institution, Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI). The total student enrollment in fall 2022 was 38,273 of which 47% are Hispanic, 20.6% are Asian American, 3.6% are African American, 58.7% are women, .2% are non-binary, and 30.8% are the first generation.
