Florida’s first independent institution of higher learning and its first Historically Black College and University (HBCU)—has reached a historic milestone this fall, recording its highest enrollment in more than twenty years. Following the close of fall registration on Friday, August 15, 2025, EWU’s Fall 2025 enrollment stood at 1,210 students, marking a remarkable 30 percent increase since Fall 2019, when the institution enrolled 932 students.
