i posted this in q's and concerns and no one's replied yet so...if anyone takes a look and knows anything about Howard's academics? anything at all. i've heard that they're challenging, i've heard they're okay, etc. just any opinions will do. i've fallen in love with that school and i'm trying to get as much info as i can get my little hands on.

i want to go to howard and its supposed to be the black folk's version of harvard...my doctor's daughter goes there....its a very prestigious school with high expectations....try www.campusdirt.com...it has helped me out a lot.... the.pretty.prodigy.

it really depends on what classes you take. i know that your freshman year they arent going to be that hard, but sophomore year is ****. school of B is no joke, so if you plan on majoring in anything business, then be prepared to work a lot and work very hard. I'm a freshman, so Im not too deep into all that Howard has to offer. Some of my classes are boring (thats inevitable with ANY school you go to), a couple others are really interesting, but I have this one class Im absolutely in love with, its everything I hoped to find at Howard (its an upperclassman course).... If you pick thought-provoking classes, you're going to get challenging course-work, if you pick easy classes...then you're gonna get bored.... I don't know if that is what you're looking for....

It's actually no. 90 in American univiersities. Schools is a big misappropriation because they weren't ranked with liberal arts colleges

, ranked #90 among ALL DOCTORAL AND RESEARCH UNIVERSITIES...universities such as Harvard and Stanford not amongst all Universities such as Liberal arts Universities or Master Degree Universities such as Hampton
