OH LAWD....
My hair is growing nicely...and I have decided to get some twist/braids upon returning to school....and to have a new look for 19!
Just a way to show I'm maturing, growing, and becoming independent...
Besides...I look kind of good in twist
Anyway....this is a question for male and female...
Females?? Do you look down on a male with braids??? Why or Why not?
Males with Braids? How do you feel with them? Do you feel cheated at work because of them? What grease do you use?
Cornrows n Braids was soooooo fukkin High School. U need to start lookin professional....... And u still wont be accepted by the black community EJ just face it lol
DITTO :!: :!: :!: So then we can really judge you.
But umm, I agree with Rod....braids are so high school, and as a grown **** man maturing, I wouldnt be trying to rock them. To me personally, braids on dudes is sooooo PLAYED. Im not really attracted to guys with braids...but If he a cool guy, I will give him a chance. Just whatever you do, make sure you keep them up. Aint nuthin worse then seeing a peasy **** head n*gga.
dont listen to what anyone says, good or bad, do it because you like it and it is a representation of you, if people dont like you oh well f' them, there are others, you want to meet people that match YOUR personality, not change yourself to match theirs

Rod! Don't be mean!
ANYWAY EJ! do twists because those are much more mature lookin' & keep u lookin' less thuggish...
EJ, gettin braids is NOT a sign of maturity...go for the twists/locs if you want to do the longer hair thing...And as someone who does know what you look like...I would recommend you keep it faded... 8)
Whatever you decide, remember at the end of the day, it is gon be you walkin around with it on your head. You will be percieved how you portray yourself. (i.e.-If you act like a nerd, braids wont change how you act--and thus you will be percieved as a nerd still.)
