LOL @ Hampton Roads. What is there to do in Virginia period? If it ain't Richmond or Northern VA...I don't find VA too exciting.

no offense 2 VA peeps, but the way Virginia operates sometimes, me and my friends call it "America's Retirement Home" like where all the old people go to pass the time...

Ok....ok...so the 757 area aint too impressive....but since ur a newcomer there are a few things for you to do. But as a personal opinion Northern Va is the best part cuz its close to DC and it isnt "country". Well depending on what part ur moving to (southside or the pennisula) there are different places for you to go. On the penn.. *Busch Gardens (you will get tired of this real quick) *Colonial Williamsburg (:? ) *Water Country USA (i could stay there all night and day..lol 8) ) *King's Dominion (In Richmond-like 30-45min away from Wllmsbrg) *Yorktown Beach (Yorktwn-its a nice lil beach-beats drivin in hours of traffic to VA beach) *Patrick Henry Mall (Newport News-its ok  ) *Prime Outlets (Williamsburg-nice, you can find some things there that are at a good price *cough* guess *cough*) *Coliseum Mall (Hampton-the biggest mall on the penn) *Buckroe Beach (Hampton-another substitute instead of driving to VA beach) Movie Theaters-Williamsburg-Williamsburg Crossing (dont go there) Newport News-Kiln Creek (pretty nice) Hampton-AMC 24 (the nicest looking movie theater i have ever seen ...but Kiln Creek cheaper though  ) On the southside...I dont know much cuz i dont stay on that side-but here are the places i have been or heard about *Ocean Breeze Water Park (i THINK its in Va beach...but not sure) *Military Circle Mall (Norfolk-if u want shoes-go here) *Greenbriar Mall (Chesapeake-its pretty decent) *VA BEACH-of course...there's plenty to do out there *MacArthur Mall (sp) (Norfolk [i think]-but i heard its a pretty BIG and nice mall...havent been though)

Oh and clubs...i have only been to two clubs at home and they in Newport News (on the penn)...so i couldnt help ya with the southside ones. Infiniti's (ummm its aight-some dude got shot there...so i dont know if they still open) Mitty's-this is a teen/grown up club-college night can be wack on some nights and on others it can be poppin-jus depend on when u go.

Va Beach: the strip, Clubs: Peabody's, The Cave, Access, Malls: Pembroke-pretty good, Lynnhaven Mall-Damn good mall . The Beach of course.Amphitheater- concerts etc. Norfolk: too much sh!t to do out here, I can't list everything. Malls: MacArthur big **** mall but you betta have some big money if you wanna get some bangin clothes. MilitaryCircleMall-hotspot, bangin theater, great place to shop if you like urban clothing. MacArthur and Military is a good place to get clothes and shoes. Hampton: Hampton Coliseum- concerts etc. Coliseum Mall-pretty good. I don't know that much about the hampton area. Norfolk and Va Beach are the places I frequent. but its really pretty in Va and laid back you'll enjoy it
