Why do Ladies say, "I have more guy friends than girls'

I ALWAYS hear girls saying that they have more guy friends than girls. Everytime I hear it, I can't help but to think, (even 4 a split second) that she's giving it up to alot of guys,etc. Why do girls not have closer relationships with their own gender? more importantly, why do we want to know that you have more males in your life than females??

Girls are a lot more critical and petty than guys are and that gets on ur nerves. Females are so quick to say "**** think she cute" and thats aggravating. Yeah it may sound bad but I do have a lot of guy friends not that I sleep with them all...but that I can relate to them and we just chill and talk. I do have some really close friend girls but other than that I chill with dudes cuz they are laid back and don't sweat the small stuff. I like that. Now if u see a female with all dudes and never ANY female friends, u might have to question that.

Girls seem to be so competitive with each other with guys you can just chill and hang out. I know that I have a lot of guy friends that are just friends people that i wouldn't even consider dating because they are not my "type". Guys can tell you about yourself and not think twice about it but girls will sometimes tell you somethings that just ain't right even if they are your friends they might be scared to tel you the truth.
So basically guys are just more down to earth than most females. by telling you that she has more guy friends than gril friends is kind of like a warning don't f&uck over her or her big brothers will get you.

^^^ CO-SIGNS!!! That was oh so true.. I don't have any sisters (I have 3 bros and I absolutely LOVE them) and I think that is why I have no tolerance for really flimsy girlz.. I don't have a lot of girl friends.. (maybe like 10 really close ones) and then everyone else is a guy... Guys are just so much more fun to be around.. they put a funny spin on things when you need to laugh, and will tell you the absolute truth when you need to hear it.. Also, you can find out things about guys that your man might never tell you.. Like why a lot cheat, or why some are intimidated by a successful womean.. stuff like that...
