:?: If you are originally paper...but you go through the "process" afterword would you still be looked down upon? If somehow my question is bad ettiquette politely let me know... I know how much love people have for their organizations and their process, I dont mean to offend anyone

Judging from your question it seems like you aren't greek at all andlack some of the basics sooooooooooooooo...you may want to research orgs...pick the one you feel you have the most to offer....hopefully be extended the opportunity to join and go from there

I am not greek but I have a pretty good idea about what I want to pursue. However, there are obstacles in my way. I asked the question here so I could get an honest answer without all the bureaucratic B.S. . I appreciate the advice and concern however.

A big part of the pledge process is the anticipation of finally getting your letters. What's the point of going through all the stuff after you already have your letters. I think you'd look pretty dumb calling your soror big sister. Part of the pledge process includes not knowing if you'll ever get your letters. Where is the unknown if you already have them? I don't care if I was paper, I'd just remain paper rather than going through a bunch of stuff for some letters that are already in my possession. There is an org at my school who already have their letters, but they are currently pledging. That is so dumb. I really don't see the point. Everbody is laughing at them, because they are being stupid for getting kicked around for some letters that they already have.

But u know how they treat paper! they humiliate them every chance they get. Some people might have the letters, but still want to earn the right to wear those letters prodly without being humilated and not respeced cuz they didnt have a process. I can see you doing it right after the whole paper thing but to wait a year and some months is stupid. question? dont bite my head off or anything- now a days once people get put on line dont they basically know they got there letters either way if they drop they can finish paper cuz pleging is outlawd period or just never go on line, just go paper. They just will face the fact of never being respected. Made people are respected either way cuz aint nobody supposed to know about ur process n e wayz, just know you aint skate.
