I have to disaggree with you, i love black men. I'm so attracted to them its just ridiculous. I think alot of women suddenly aren't attracted to black men or a certain type because they have been betrayed by them for a long time so they decide to seek outside there race thinking that maybe a white or whateva race won't be that way which isn't true. Men are Men regardless of what color they are.
As far as black men dating outside there race, i thimnk when a black man dates a white women he feels like he has maybe succeded or done better because he is with a white woman, sometimes it can be thats just the woman he likes but I don't believe it in many cases.
I really don't give a damn if I would ever date outside my race and a black man would be upset, what I do is my buisnesss you understand.
But for the moment

I am curious though what brought you to this realization. Is it personal attraction, or did you have an experience that soured you to Black men?
Either way, you need to explore all your options, whether it's in the Black race or others. So if you feel that you would be better matched with a White or Latino person, then I encourage you to try. At best you'll find a good man and if it doesn't work out, you'll have a new perspective on Black men. And no, not all Black guys disapprove of seeing an interracial couple, although some do. The same goes for females that are offended by seeing a Black man with a non-Black woman, as if it subconsciously implies that he believes Black women aren't good enough or are less desirable.
In other words, many people, but not all, will accept your relationship. Whether they do or not really is not important, if your relationship was created for the right reasons.
I will continue to pray that you find the right one for you, regardless of his ethnicity. Holla!

I understand what she's saying, and why she said that we were hypocrites... but to no longer be attacted to black men? I understand not being attracted to type afo personality that you have encountered among us, but just remember that there are latinos, italians, asians, and even *gasp* white guys who are hypocrites too.... They may not seem like it but thats because they are so elated that they were able to get wit a sista cause because they realize how beautiful, special, intriging, and perfect you all are....

Just as someone stated, "some" black women do the same thing. But for me to stereo type all black women because of it is so stupid, u can take that how u wanna. It is not fair to any race or gender to have a negative stereo type because of a small percentage of people that do whatever it is people stereo type them for....
