Now I don't know if any of the greeks would answer this truthfully or not but a friend of mine and I were having a discussion about what sorority or fraternity to join...we couldn't come to an agreement but the bottom line is that if you were not mentored or are a legacy by whomever you decided to join...you basically jooin by whats up on the campus...i have a friend who is a greek who told me literally that he joined because there were what was up...now...any other opinions
I'm kinda the reverse... I chose my school based on what sorority I wanted to be in.... so.. yeah.. If it gets suspended, I'm not changing my decision and tryna go for another sorority... I am not a legacy, and I know 3 ________s that I just met last year... so I guess I'm your exception....
The question isn't a "what should i pledge?" type of question...only people who havent entereed college ask that type of question...but you...being a delta :roll: ...could have easily answered the question by saying..."yes...thats why I joined or no I joined because"....this was a discussion between me and a friend and we were interested in why people join thier frat or sorority...she thinks its deeper than..."i joined because they were whats up on the yard"....and we've heard someone say that that was why they joined his...the question is...

If I wanted to pledge Zeta I would be a legacy too, but that's not my path. At first I wanted to to pledge _______ because they were the most popular thing on campus...but then I realized that the ________ wern't for me.

Sad, but often times very, very true. I can think of at least two groups on many campuses who many join because it's a popularity contests.
