I was curious has anyone seen or read the bookThe White Architects of Black Education:Ideology and Power in America, 1865-1954 by Dr. William H Watkins. This book outlines the racist attitudes of the whites in the freeman bureau who helped found many of our hbcu's. I think that would be a great book club topic.
