Morehouse... change of major Posted on 01-11-2004

I am going to attend Morehouse College in the Fall of 2004 as a Freshman. I applied under the Economics Major but have since then decided that I would rather work toward a degre in African-American Studies. Should I contact some one at the College now or shall I wait untill the time of registration. I have had several friends to tell me to wait, but they all go to white schools. Though from what I understand, there are many differences between the two types of colleges. :?:

You're fine don't even sweat it, you can do it when you get down there. You really aren't going to be taking major classes anyway until your sophomore year anyway. Plus the paperwork is really easy to do. If you call someone at the college now, they probably will tell you the same thing. Plus its only January, Morehouse doesn't deal with stuff like that quite that far in advance...

WAIT!! Most folks here, are not even worried about 2008 freshman. They are worried about my "class 2007 freshman ". Besides, it's too early. I haven't even started my second semester yet! We are still on break! Don't sweat it! The freshman take most of the same classes anyway!
